- About Me:
- I am a Native Romanian and live in Bucharest, Romania. I have a BA with major in English and minor in Romanian (University of Bucharest, Germanic Languages Faculty, English-Romanian Section).
Right now I am a Freelance Translator and would like to work at home on my PC translating the requested texts or books. I have a wide experience of 31 years of office work (English & American English spoken environment), but privately I have translated for many customers during these years of work. I have also translated books that have been published here in Romania ( a practical philosophy book “How to Get Ideas”by Jack Foster, a thriller in ancient Egypt: Nefertiti, the Book of the Dead, by Nick Drake and a spy book: “The Faithful Spy” by Alex Berenson).
I have won an Award for my Fantasy story “The Tea Rite” at the National SF Convention some time ago.
I have published a Science Fiction Book translation (The Listeners by James Gunn) and a Fantasy Novella “The Queen of Air and Darkness” by Poul Anderson).
Lately I have translated a Non Fiction book about Fashion which is quite a sofisticated approach to fashion and which will be published soon.
Currently I am working on a best seller Fantasy book and a Detective Story.
Projects for the future:
I would love to have time to translate my stories and poems into English and publish them.
My translating literary pair of languages is English-Romanian.
